As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will interface with amazing people across the continent with a mission of increasing recycling, reducing waste and improving resident facing government services.

You’ll have great peers to work with – folks who understand the challenges in this space and will help you grow and be successful. Our team is geographically distributed, and has many, many years of telecommute experience and working on highly productive remote teams.


The primary focus of this role is to coordinate marketing and communications efforts for ReCollect. This listing is for a full-time position, based out of Vancouver, BC or working remotely from anywhere in North America.

Further, we are looking for a teammate to share success with as ReCollect continues to grow. If you are fluent in French, that would be incroyable aussi (a bonus).

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Create and deliver demand and lead generation activities, and marketing campaigns that provide measurable improvement for top-line growth and deliver a solid pipeline

Strategically integrate and leverage demand generation tactics and tools, including email, web seminars, events, social media, and search engine marketing.

Research, write, edit, and manage written materials such as:

  • ReCollect.net content
  • Case studies, Success stories
  • White papers, Position papers
  • Product brochures, data sheets, solution highlights, and other sales collateral
  • Press releases, Social media communications: blog posts, tweets, videos
  • Coordinate trade show attendance and strategies

Effectively communicate plans and metrics regularly to executive and sales leadership. This will include reporting on web traffic, outbound sales efforts, and direct mail results.

Review and stay abreast of market trends through all available resources, including trade publications, direct customer contact, participation in industry conferences/expos/trade shows, etc...

Consider strategy around overall corporate strategic marketing, brand and communication.


  • 1-3 years of experience within Communications and/or SaaS product marketing
  • Experience marketing to government and/or solid waste/recycling industry
  • Knowledge of demand generation methods across multiple channels (email, webinars, SEM/SEO, social, events, etc.)
  • Previous experience working on marketing processes/strategies
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
  • The ability to work individually, in a team environment, and with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and set expectations of execution and results of marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and projects
  • Startup DNA: Highly collaborative, self-starter, check the ego at the door, always interested in learning and innovating, unafraid to take action
  • Fluency in French not required but a plus
